“Like a pack of Satyrs, sitting in dim oak-coverts, and hearing only afar off the voices and swift feet of Artemis’s maidens” – intrigued? Attend the latest episode and learn more, and watch Whitman parade himself “hankering, gross, mystical, nude”.

Very enjoyable programme and your talking from notes worked well.
I liked the Mavelettes ‘The Hunter Gets Captured by the Game’—it reminded me of Stevenson saying lovers are ‘rival mesmerists’. The crazy experience of falling in love involves much imaginative mirroring as well as the delusion of turning the wheel on which you turn.
